Installation
How does the install process work?
Our team handles all installs. Once we schedule a date and time, our team takes 30 minutes per bay to set up the system. We use heavy duty adhesives on your walls or screws where necessary to affix the cameras near your bays. When they're set up, there's nothing left to do - they'll automatically start collecting data for you once connected to your 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network.
How many cameras are required per bay?
We use one camera per bay and we provide a few extra auxiliary cameras to capture events that our primary cameras can't.
Can I set up the cameras myself?
At this time, we don't allow for individual installation as our system still requires some behind-the-scenes technical wizardry to get working. Rest assured - this feature is coming soon.
Data Privacy
What happens to the images and videos taken by the cameras?
We store your visual data for 30 days in a secure database. After that, we permanently delete all records.
Do you utilize facial recognition?
No - we don't identify individual technicians or employees.
Can I access my shop's data?
Yes - please send an email to contact@detectauto.com and we'll coordinate with you to get you all of your shop's visual data from the past 30 days.

What happens if I want to cancel?
To cancel, all you have to do is send us an email at contact@detectauto.com. From there, we'll coordinate with you regarding the camera hardware and equipment to schedule any returns.
